March at OLH

March at OLH brings many activities and hopefully some Spring time too!!  We begin the month with our Grade 5-8 students participating in CPR training. These skills are essential because they save lives!  Our Rosary Apostolate will be visiting with us again. OLH will be hosting the Boys’ Basketball Local Tournament while the Girls’ Basketball team will travel to OLGC.  Another classroom will have the experience of visiting our board’s STREAM center of excellence.  We will celebrate and regenerate during March Break (13-17). Author Mahak Jain will be visiting OLH and Aubrey Noronha will be back visiting all the grades with his message on “Why being “not racist” is not enough anymore 2.0.”   A very special province wide mass to celebrate Catholic Education Week will be live streamed for all the students and their families on March 22nd!  And we round out the month with the exciting finals for Spelling Bee. Our 8 OLH finalists will be competing with 3 other schools at OLA on March 31st!!  A very exciting month and let’s not forget to have a cheer on St. Patrick’s Day !!
